DashMart is a rapidly growing business vertical within DoorDash, that operates micro-fulfillment centers throughout the United States. We offer fresh & local groceries and household essential items to our customers and do so reliably and rapidly. The Operational Excellence & People Experience supports DashMart ventures by managing organizational change and comms, standardizing ops processes, providing best-in-class training, and empowering our Local Ops Leaders and Operators.
In this role, you will 1/ lead onboarding experiences for our new hire population, 2/ implement our continued education roadmap and learning strategies, 3/ develop Local Ops employee skills, and 4/ support cross-functional partners with net new training creation, and 5/ leverage our Learning Management System (LMS) to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Using strong communication skills and relationship-building in live, recorded, and online training materials, you’re able to communicate effectively. Developing deep expertise in how DashMart processes, systems, and resources work will be very important.
The DashMart L&D team consists of (1) Sr. Associate, (3) Associates and who all report to the Associate Manager, Learning & Development on our Operational Excellence & People Experience team within the New Business Verticals operation .
- Train & Coach: Train new hires (both Associates and Managers) on operational processes and give them the confidence to run the full operation. Be a culture setter for new hires and set the tone for DoorDash. Continue to support DashMart employees through office hours and continuing education.
- Continuously Improve Operations: Through a rigorous continued education roadmap, you will continuously improve operational processes, and ensure our Local Operators are always properly trained.
- Create Bespoke Training Content: You are a creative expert in L&D, and can create cosmetically appealing content that engages the end user, driving training comprehension.
- You're self-motivated, positive, and a team player. You work well with others, and you bring a great attitude to your work each and every day. You have high integrity and are excited to delight customers.
- You're scrappy. You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done whether it's digging into a new process to determine how best to communicate it to new hires or helping troubleshoot a technical issue.
- You're a proven leader. You have conducted training and succeeded in high-performance cultures such as tech, retail, restaurant, or warehouse environments.
- You're organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets. You are a data-driven decision maker who is comfortable compiling your findings in documentation that can be shared with the broader team.
- You are able to present weekly. You are ready to be on camera and engage new hires with passion and excitement regularly. You are excited about building this business and creating an environment where our newest team members feel prepared and can be successful.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Training or education
- Expert communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of professional maturity

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
