Recently demoted Seattle Chief ofPolice Adrian Diaz was removed fromhis position by Seattle mayor BruceHarrell; Harrell stated at the time thathe demoted Diaz was due to "complaintsof sexual harassment" filed against Diaz. Now, it's being revealed now that Diaz, who is married with children,is coming out as gay, while also sayingthat the complaints of sexual harassmentfiled against him by several female officers "are all false."

This is a terrible thing to have occurred:NYPD officers while out on patrol observed agroup of children, all of whom appeared to beunder the age of ten, walking along the streetsunaccompanied by a visible adult. When the officersbegan to question the children as to where theyresided and where their parents were, two adultsappeared, claiming to be the parents. When theofficers questioned the adults as to why the childrenwere on the streets past curfew walking without anadult present, the parents became enraged and actually threw the children's bicycles at the officers,injuring them. The parents "fled the scene with thegroup of children," but it's still not clear how theywere able to get away. That's the odd part of thisincident. Police are requesting that anyone who canidentify the two adults to contact the NYPD.

This senior citizen was very fortunate that an alert residenttook it upon herself to save her from further fraud of hersavings by a con man.
